Domus come permanenza
In un’epoca di “modernità liquida” come la definisce il sociologo Baumann, in cui “l’unica costante è il cambiamento e l’unica certezza l’incertezza”, dove l’individuo vive all’interno di una società e di un’economia totalmente globalizzate, nelle quali vengono intessuti rapporti sempre più ibridi, superficiali e in continuo mutamento, la presenza di punti fermi, stabili, materici rappresenta un bisogno fondamentale.
E l'architettura, che è materia, assurge a questo ruolo. Rappresenta la permanenza, la certezza, il luogo da cui partire e sempre puoi tornare, donando all’individuo stabilità fisica ed emotiva.
In an era of "liquid modernity" as the sociologist Baumann defines it, in which "the only constant is change and the only certainty is uncertainty", where the individual lives within a society and a totally globalized economy, in which increasingly hybrid, superficial and ever-changing relationships are woven, the presence of firm, stable, material points represents a fundamental need.
And the architecture trises to this role. It represents permanence, certainty, the place from which to leave and you can always return, giving the individual physical and emotional stability.
In questa sua intrinseca funzione, l'architettura deve rispondere ai reali bisogni di coloro che la abitano, plasmandosi alle caratteristiche individuali o del gruppo .
In this intrinsic function, the architecture must respond to the real needs of the person or people who live there.
Nelle nostre ristrutturazioni non si ritrova lo stile dell’architetto: il risultato è sempre diverso, così come è meravigliosamente differente ogni persona che si affida a noi.

Dal concept al dettaglio
Ciò che vogliamo creare è una stretta connessione tra il concept ed il dettaglio: è nel dettaglio che si deve percepire l’idea progettuale e nel concept l’idea del dettaglio. La completezza dell’intervento, dall’idea iniziale - dove si ritaglia lo spazio- al dettaglio del corrimano o della maniglia danno qualità alla totalità del progetto.
What we want to create is a close connection between the concept and the detail: it is in the detail that the design idea must be perceived and the idea of ​​detail in the concept.
